Runner Habits and Trends to be Key Focus of Influential Panel
WICHITA, Kan. – The rising influence of mobile and social technologies on the sport of road running come into focus at 2017 Running USA Industry Conference, February 26-28 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, as the session ‘The Connected Runner: Technology in the Sport’ shines a light on the role technology plays amongst runners.
The session brings together three of the leading technology minds in the sport of road running, including:
- Andy Beckman – Director of North America Fitness Sales & Marketing at Garmin
- David Lorsch – VP of Strategy and Business Development at Strava
- Dan Nagler – Founder and CEO of Motigo
- Bas van Rens – CEO of MYLAPS
Moderated by industry veteran Lonnie Somers of Hal Sports, the quartet will discuss a host of issues, including the influence of mobile, social media usage, wearable technology and much more.
