Founded In 2009, NYCRUNS produces 35 events yearly in New York City. Our events are known for being high quality across the board. In 2017, we will be producing our first event for over 10,000 people (the Queens Half Marathon) and we are currently seeking qualified individuals to focus on building partnerships that take NYCRUNS to the next level.
The sponsorship sales coordinator is responsible for targeting potential partners for our ecosystem of events, primarily focusing on the Queens Half Marathon. Responsibilities will include creating opportunities, facilitating sales in conjunction with the Director & CEO, and ensuring that partner expectations are met. This is a mid-level position with great potential for advancement.
The ideal candidate will have sales experience, a network of contacts, and experience in the endurance industry. In addition to the standard skills such as great communication and digital proficiency a professional at this level would normally be expected to possess, a willingness to get your hands dirty and go the extra mile is always an asset in a growing business.
Compensation: Salary, Commission, 401K.
