New to the Running USA Industry Conference? Join Boston Marathon race director Dave McGillivray, the voice of IRONMAN Mike Reilly and Running USA's own Christine Bowen on Sunday at our First Timers session. At this session, you'll learn:

  • Who attends the Running USA Industry Conference
  • What the conference experience is like, from start to finish
  • How best to network and connect with fellow attendees
  • A brief history of Running USA and what the organization is known for
  • Finally, ask questions, get answers and hit the ground running!

This not to be missed evening includes a sit-down dinner and awards ceremony. The winner of the 2017 Allan Steinfeld Development Award and annual Youth Program Award will be announced, with grants of $25,000 and $10,000 being distributed, and 2017 inductees to the Hall of Champions will be revealed.

The Running USA Youth Program Award provides a $10,000 grant to one youth program each year at the Running USA Industry Conference. The Youth Program Award goes to a program which advocates the benefits of youth running, collaborates to combat obesity and supports family and youth health initiatives - Learn more and view past winners

Tuesday, February 28


5:30 AM – Morning Run - Stay tuned for exciting details!

Tuesday's run is an extra special collaboration with Disney and will require participants to commit to join ahead of time so transportation arrangements can be made. Registered attendees will receive an email about participation in this run approximately two weeks prior to conference. You must commit to attending ahead of time and pick up your wristband at the registration desk in order to participate.

Line up for buses at 5:30, board at 5:45. Buses will leave promptly at 6:00 am for race location and arrive at 6:15 am. Buses return promptly at 7:15am. Find the course map in the RUSA17 app.
