Jared Rohatinsky

CEO, Brooksee

Jared Rohatinsky has spent his entire professional career in the Endurance Event Industry. Immediately after finishing his Track & Field and Cross Country career at BYU and graduating magna cum laude with a master’s degree in accounting, he promptly waved goodbye to the corporate world and dove in head-first to found Brooksee. Under his leadership Brooksee has grown from a one-race operation storing equipment in the basement to become one of the most respected event production firms in the country with 25 employees and a spotless track record.

Jared is a champion of building strong relationships between communities and events. His unique approach to working hand-in-hand with permitting entities and community groups led to his successful creation and expansion of the REVEL Race Series. More recently Brooksee won the bid to assume production of the historied Portland Marathon and also acquired the Mesa Marathon (formerly the Phoenix Marathon). During the COVID crisis he oversaw the creation of an innovative remote racing concept that has now led Brooksee to offer a unique timing solution to other race directors.

Jared is eager to apply his creativity and hard work ethic to the mission of Running USA. He is a pragmatic leader with a “get it done” attitude and is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and get dirty. He is passionate about giving back to the industry that has shaped both his personal and professional life and looks forward to serving the running community for years to come.
