DULUTH, Minn. – Grandma’s Marathon Duluth, Inc. announced HOKA ONE ONE® will be the official and exclusive shoe of the Grandma’s Marathon in 2017. The 41st running of the annual road race will take place in Duluth, Minnesota on June 17, 2017. The iconic race attracts runners from all 50 states and over 30 countries each year, bringing the race to prominence as the eleventh largest marathon in the United States.

As the official shoe sponsor of the race, HOKA will have a prominent presence at all marathon weekend activities including the Essentia Health Fitness Expo, William A. Irvin 5K, Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and Grandma’s Marathon.

The HOKA partnership comes on the heels of the historic 40th annual Grandma’s Marathon Weekend in 2016 with registration being sold out six months prior to the race for the first time and also the largest race weekend in the history of the event. Registration for the 2017 marathon opened October 1, 2016.
