Women have long been recognized for their athletic achievements. Since 2005, Running USA has been acknowledging their accomplishments in the business of our sport. As race directors, medical professionals, operations leaders, entrepreneurs, marketing leaders or in many other ways, every day, women are still a minority in our business. This award celebrates the contributions women make to our sport.
Criteria for Recognition
The Awards Committee carefully reviews all nominations and takes into consideration the overall accomplishments of each nominee, their community involvement, service as a role model for our business and their proven ability to grow the sport.
