Kansas City, Missouri – April 6, 2023 – The Hospital Hill Run, Kansas City’s Grandfather of all Kansas City road races, is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 7 AM in Crown Center.

To commemorate this milestone, the event’s organizers are pleased to announce a total prize purse of $2000 for the Half Marathon event, generously sponsored by Greg and Sybil Orman.

The prize purse breakdown is as follows:

     Male/Female First Place: $500 each

     Male/Female Second Place: $300 each

     Male/Female Third Place: $100 each

     Male/Female First Place Masters: $100 each

Hospital Hill Run has been a staple in the Kansas City community since its inception in 1974, attracting thousands of participants from the local area and around the world. This year’s race promises to be an unforgettable experience as runners come together to conquer the hill and celebrate the event’s rich history.

The 5K and 10K winners will receive prize packages.
