Global Running Day debut showcases training soundtrack ahead of an expanded nine-city season beginning July 12 in Denver

LOS ANGELES – June 11, 2026 – Building on the momentum of Global Running Day, Diplo’s Run Club has launched its official “Diplo’s Run Club Essentials” playlist on Amazon Music, featuring a curated collection of tracks designed to power training runs, workouts and race day.

The playlist arrives as Diplo’s Run Club prepares for its biggest season yet, featuring nine events nationwide beginning July 12 with the series’ inaugural stop in Denver.

Recently recognized as one of Fast Company’s 2026 Most Innovative Companies, Diplo’s Run Club returns this year with events in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco and Philadelphia, while adding highly anticipated new stops in Chicago and Denver.

“The last two years of Diplo’s Run Club have been incredible and I’m excited to keep building it,” said Diplo. “Music and fitness are such a huge part of my life, and this playlist is packed with tracks I run to and tracks that keep the energy high.”

Part 5K, part mini music festival, Diplo’s Run Club sits at the intersection of running, music, culture and wellness.

Participants complete a 5K before celebrating with a post-race concert featuring Diplo and special guests. More than half of all participants have been first-time 5K runners, helping establish the series as one of the most accessible and community-driven events in endurance sports.

In celebration of Global Running Day, traditionally held the first Wednesday in June, Amazon Music is supporting the playlist launch through a nationwide promotional campaign that includes featured placement across the streaming service’s workout, dance and electronic music categories, dedicated Global Running Day programming, social media support and an upcoming out-of-home billboard campaign in New York City.

The collaboration reflects the shared belief that music has the power to motivate movement, build community and create memorable experiences both on and off the course.

Beyond race day, Diplo’s Run Club works with nonprofit partner PLUS1 to support community impact initiatives and donates a portion of proceeds to Good Sports, helping provide access to youth sports equipment and programming in underserved communities. In 2025 alone, those efforts helped deliver more than 16,000 pieces of equipment, impact more than 16,000 children and support 45 youth organizations nationwide.
