Major partners for Minneapolis’ summer running party include Official Nonalcoholic Beer Athletic Brewing, Supporting Hydration Sponsor Nuun Hydration, and Official Nonprofit Partner Minneapolis Parks Foundation
Minneapolis, MN (June 12, 2025) – The Twin Cities Twilight Relays–an Endurance Sports Consultancy event–is proud to announce the roster of partners for its inaugural edition, to be held the evening of Friday, July 18 at and around Lake Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Said Relay Director Eli Asch, “With registration for the Relays running strong, we’re excited to announce an equally strong roster of partners to help us deliver a unique, impactful, and fun event experience for all of our participants.”
The Twilight Relays could not be more pleased to share its category-exclusive relationship with Athletic Brewing to be the event’s Official Non-Alcoholic Beer. Athletic Brewing has already been powering the Twilight Relays’ Run Group Tour this spring, providing runners free samples at over a dozen store, club, and crew community runs throughout the Twin Cities. This support will continue on race day with Athletic providing a free non-alcoholic beer for all event participants in the Relay Festival.
Also partnering with the Relays is Supporting Hydration Partner Nuun Hydration, which will be providing Nuun Sport in the Festival’s Runner Refueling Zone. Additionally, each team will receive a Nuun Sport tube which will have a timing tag attached and serve as their team’s official baton.
And to help the event achieve its community impact goals, the Relays has partnered with the Minneapolis Parks Foundation (MPF) as its Official Nonprofit Partner, with the event donating a portion of each team’s entry fee to the non-profit. Runners will have the opportunity to make a donation directly during registration to further support MPF–with the Relays matching a portion of those donations–and MPF is receiving an additional donation from the Relays for providing Green Team volunteers to support the event’s sustainability efforts and its goal of becoming a Zero Waste event.
Said Asch, “These major partners will play a critical role in delivering a successful inaugural edition of the Relays. From Athletic providing Relays runners a way to have a healthy ‘cheers!’ with their teammates, to Nuun assuring our runners stay hydrated in the summer heat, to MPF contributing to our event’s positive community impact, we couldn’t be more grateful to them for seeing our vision for a summer running party and jumping in to support it!”
Beyond these major partners, additional event partners include:
● All four Twin Cities-based, fully locally-owned run specialty stores Fit 1st Running, Gear Running Store, Twin Cities Running Company, and Mill City Running, serving as Supporting Packet Pick-up Partners and each hosting an evening of packet pick-up race week.
● Supporting Partners Ackerberg, providing event parking at 3033 Excelsior Blvd, and Metro Transit, providing free rides to participants and volunteers on race day.
● And additional Nonprofit Partners Brave Like Gabe, Mile in My Shoes, and Run Minnesota, each of which will have a booth in the Relay Festival.
Said Asch, “In ways large and small, these partners are all contributing to assuring that the inaugural Twin Cities Twilight Relays are a success. Additionally, their support is a signifier of their belief in what we’re building for the Twin Cities running community at the Relays, and we are so excited to bring them all together on a beautiful summer evening for a celebration of the vibrant and diverse Twin Cities running community and all that makes it great!”
