LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (June 2, 2026) — After decades of promoting wellness together, AdventHealth and Walt Disney World are expanding their collaboration to the fastest-moving part of the Walt Disney World Resort experience: the ultra-popular runDisney race weekends.
Starting in 2027, AdventHealth will become the presenting sponsor of the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, one of the signature events within the runDisney series where runners can embark on their own fairytale journey.
Through this new collaboration with AdventHealth, the magical race weekend will bring added focus on whole‑person wellness, highlighting the connection among physical activity, emotional resilience and community support. Additionally, runDisney will work with AdventHealth to create wellness experiences throughout the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo where runners can get pre-race wellness tips and build on their long-range fitness. In addition to these services, AdventHealth will continue to provide medical support for guests throughout runDisney race weekends, helping ensure a safe and supportive experience for every participant.

This new collaboration with runDisney builds on AdventHealth’s expansive footprint within The Most Magical Place On Earth where it currently serves as The Official Health Care Provider of Walt Disney World Resort, runDisney and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Through these various experiences, AdventHealth is able to provide health and wellness support for guests with a wide range of services. For instance, through the AdventHealth World of Wellness, Walt Disney World guests have convenient access to AdventHealth resources during their stay, including virtual and in-room doctor visits at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, medical equipment and pharmacy delivery, and complimentary transportation to nearby care locations.
The 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by AdventHealth will take place at Walt Disney World Resort Feb. 25–March 1, 2027 and will include a 5K, 10K and half marathon that all take place amid immersive Disney storytelling and entertainment. Race registration for the general public opens June 2, 2026 at 10 a.m. EST.
