Partnership with EnMotive’s event logistics system facilitates rapid sell-out

 

May 14, 2020 (Chicago, IL) – RAM Racing, the leading endurance race producer in the country, has announced the sell-out of the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k Virtual Run. With over 36,000 participants, the event is considered the most popular virtual run in North America.

From its launch in February 2020, the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k Virtual Run maintained an average of over 3,000 entries per week – an unprecedented participation level during the COVID-19 global pandemic.  The success of the event is attributed to two core drivers: the participant offering and the operational logistics.

The Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k Run is well recognized for its premiere goody bags and chocolate celebration at the end of the run.  RAM Racing took the excitement of that participant experience and translated it into a unique and highly desired participant offering, including a premium race jacket, medal, bib, hot chocolate packets and more.

In order to streamline operations and ensure happy runners, RAM Racing engaged EnMotive’s event logistics system. This unique system automates the entire flow from registration to package receipt. Once a participant signs up for the virtual event, an order is automatically generated for the shirt size and goody bag offering.  That order is paired with a UPS label and packaged in EnMotive’s fulfillment facilities.  Once the package is shipped, the participant is notified of the shipment and tracking number.
