Ashworth Awards is happy to announce yet again that it is the title sponsor of the 2021 Baystate Marathon and Half Marathon this fall, October 17th.  For many years running, Ashworth Awards has been the title sponsor of Baystate with its team members volunteering at the race as well!  Owners Kim and Dan Ashworth look forward to returning to the in-person event this year after a virtual 2020 Baystate Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5k challenge.  In fact, at the last in-person Baystate Marathon, 2019, Kim and Morgan Ashworth ran, receiving their qualifiers for this year’s Boston Marathon 2021.  Kim, Dan, and Morgan are looking forward to giving back to Baystate by working at the finish line this coming October!

With the Boston Marathon holding off on its 2022 registration until November this year, Baystate Marathon is a great opportunity to receive your qualifier right before the deadline!  Runners can also use the Baystate Half Marathon as a recovery run after the October running of the Boston Marathon, something Morgan and Kim are debating!  You will either see them out on the course or receive your Ashworth Award from them at the finish line! Team Ashworth is excited to be a part of the Baystate community and retain their position as title sponsor making this year’s race the 2022 Ashworth Awards Baystate Marathon and Half Marathon!

About the Baystate Marathon:

The Baystate Marathon is one of the most prestigious, flat, fast-paced races in the country. We attract a balanced combination of recreational, amateur, and competitive elite runners. We pride ourselves on being a race that is “For Runners – By Runners”.

“We are ecstatic to be hosting an in person race this fall. Through the uncertainty and challenges over the last year, we learned a lot, and our running community grew stronger. Ashworth Awards was a great partner through the pandemic and we are thrilled to have them back this year to deliver the best medals around to all of our finishers!”
