CARMEL, Ind. (October 17, 2026) – Cool fall temperatures set the stage for the 2026 Indiana Women’s Running Festival for the 1,000+ finishers representing 25 states and three countries. This year marked a significant milestone as the event moved from August to October, aligning with Breast Cancer Awareness Month and further emphasizing its commitment to women’s health and supporting the three official charities: IWIN Foundation, Twisted Pink, and the DOVE Recovery House. Ladies participated in three different race distances, the half marathon, 10K, and the Inspiring Women 5K, all offering a cash purse including $4,000 in the half marathon alone.

Returning after a fifth-place finish in 2025, Anna Farello claimed the 2026 Half Marathon title, crossing the finish line in an impressive 1:15:28. The race delivered excitement, with the lead pack of four runners together through mile 7. While the competition delivered impressive finishing times, the spirit of community remained at the heart of the event. The rest and recovery area, located on the north lawn of Carmel City Hall, was filled with laughter, hugs, and smiles on behalf of PR’s, survivor stories, and camaraderie.

In the supporting events, making her Indiana Women’s Running Festival debut, Hallie Hill captured first place in the 10K, finishing in 36:34.56. In the Inspiring Women 5K, Indianapolis runner Kerry Bogner earned the overall victory with a time of 19:10.43.
