The Cowtown Marathon’s Children’s Activities for Life & Fitness (C.A.L.F.) Program is kicking off another year of inspiring North Texas youth to get moving and stay healthy. Now in its 17th year, the program provides training, brand-new running shoes, socks, and race entry assistance to children—helping them build lifelong healthy habits.
With more than 8,000 children expected to run this year, The Cowtown is calling on local businesses, organizations, and families to “Adopt a School” to help cover the cost of shoes and socks. Sponsorships include high-visibility recognition and hands-on volunteer opportunities at schools.
WHY IT MATTERS:
· Since 2009, The Cowtown has distributed over 64,000 pairs of shoes to kids in need.
· Healthy, active kids are more likely to become healthy, active adults.
· Community involvement is essential to reach every child who needs support.
SPONSORSHIP LEVELS:
· 20 children or less – $1,000
· 21–50 children – $2,500
· 51–100 children – $5,000
Sponsor Benefits: Yard sign at the school, sponsor banner at shoe delivery, listing in Runner Guidebook & website, social media callouts, opportunity to help deliver shoes, logo on C.A.L.F. trailer.
MEDIA INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES:
· School Coaches: Hear stories from veteran coaches about the program’s lasting impact.
· Student Participants: Meet kids who are preparing for The Cowtown Kids 5K.
