The GO! St. Louis Marathon Weekend brought St. Louis’ favorite running tradition back to the city streets, historic landmarks, and beautiful parks of downtown St. Louis on April 2-3, 2022. The 22nd annual Marathon Weekend included races and festivities for everyone in the family as Missouri’s premiere fitness event for all.

Big River Race Management, a long-time partner of GO! St. Louis, provided timing and media services as well as management consultation. Implementation of live timing services included two start remote lines, seven on course splits and a common finish with announcer line. Big River’s media services provided more than 35,000 sponsor branded photos optically matched to participants across all 5 timed events, individual finisher videos, digital finisher certificates and individualized result QR codes on each bib.

GO! St. Louis events had more than 8,000 participants over the course of the weekend. Sunday’s full and half marathon routes traveled along a scenic point-to-point course that began in the city’s urban gem, Forest Park, and wound through the city’s most beautiful urban neighborhoods and streets before finishing in downtown St. Louis near the Gateway Arch. The 10K race participants enjoyed a start and finish at the same site as the marathon finish in downtown St. Louis.

Saturday’s family events include a 5K, children’s fun runs, and the culmination of GO! St. Louis’ elementary school program, the Read, Right & Run Marathon.

Top-quality participant amenities, a smooth race experience, and plenty of local delights from St. Louis favorites Gooey Louie and The Pasta House are among reasons both local runners and racers from across the country continue to participate in GO! St. Louis’ events.
