Event sees 50% growth with all-new, sold-out 5K, kids events and largest wine, beer and music festival in its decade long history.
The 10th Anniversary of the Livermore Valley Half Marathon, all-new 5K & kids races will take place on March 3, 2024. Mascot Sports, who founded the race in 2014 and awarded “Destination Partner of the Year” from Livermore Downtown Inc., is excited to kick off this iconic event weekend at Altamont Beer Works to unveil our custom Runner’s HiPA this Friday.
“Our team is honored to be celebrating our 10th start in Livermore. It’s always such a magical day and we’re excited to catch all the feels this weekend in one of our favorite places,” said Mascot Sports CEO Ryan Dawkins.
“One of the hallmarks of Livermore is its remarkable quality of life,” said Livermore Mayor John Marchand. “This signature event has participants coming back year after year. Come and find out why.”
The start, finish and festival will take place in historic Downtown Livermore and the race route will bring runners through areas of the Livermore Valley, California’s original wine country.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of this world class event, highlighting the very best of the Livermore Valley,” said Livermore Downtown Inc. Executive Director Ruby Lopez-Villarreal. “Starting in the heart of it all, you’ll get a sense of California’s rich old west charm that comes to life amongst top breweries, gold medal wineries, restaurants and shopping boutiques. In addition to cheer stations, six water stops and pace teams, Livermore Valley Half & 5K participants can expect to bring home a unique snowglobe medal, technical long sleeve tee, and a custom wine glass to enjoy tastes from local wineries and breweries as part of the popular Finish Festival.
