The platform surfaces overall podium standings, gender and age group rankings, finish time, pace, chip time, gun time, race day progress, and cumulative and segment rankings, giving every athlete a complete and personal picture of their result. It is not just a leaderboard. It is a record of everyone who showed up.
What makes Results Analysis distinct is not only what it measures, but how it frames it. Every finisher receives their own result page showing where they placed overall, within their gender, and within their age group. At Mid South, a grueling gravel cycling and running event held annually in Stillwater, Oklahoma that draws hundreds of riders and runners across distances ranging from 12 to 100 miles of punishing red dirt roads, the platform displayed podium finishers alongside the DFL, Dead F***ing Last, with equal prominence. In a race where the elements, the terrain, and sheer distance conspire against everyone, finishing last is not a footnote. At Movemint, that spirit is now integrated into the product.
To mark the launch, Movemint brought the Lanterne Rouge tradition to Mid South, one of the most celebrated gravel cycling and running events in the United States. Since 1903, the Tour de France has awarded the Lanterne Rouge to the last place finisher, not as a consolation, but as a recognition of something rarer than winning: the refusal to quit. This year, Movemint honored Mid South’s last place finisher with flowers at the finish line and the Lanterne Rouge, because that finish deserved to be witnessed.
“The data existed for every finisher, but the recognition did not,” said Movemint. “The last place finisher crossed the same line, covered the same distance, and faced the same course as everyone else. We built Results Analysis to celebrate that.”
