The New Balance Bronx 10 Mile marked the return of fall road racing with nearly 8,000 runners of all ages and abilities took over streets in the Bronx. Today’s race was a celebration of the Bronx community, and it was the largest NYRR race held since the pandemic.

Since September 2020, NYRR has safely produced more than 25 road races, and gradually scaling up to the TCS New York City Marathon on November 7. The New Balance Bronx 10 Mile is utilized by many runners as a tune-up to the marathon.

The New Balance Bronx 10 Mile runs along the streets of the Concourse section of the Bronx before finishing in front of Yankee Stadium. Amber Sabathia, wife of Yankee’s pitcher CC Sabathia and co-founder of the PitCCh In Foundation, participated in the race to support her foundation’s fundraising efforts which aims to enrich the lives of inner-city youth. The event also hosted the Rising New York Road Runners Field Day in Macombs Dam Park for children ages 2-18.
