Peloton Instructor Becs Gentry joins NYRR Set the Pace as new co-host; Peloton’s new TCS New York City Marathon scenic content now available for Tread/Tread+ Members

New York, April 24, 2024 — New York Road Runners (NYRR) announced today that Peloton has signed on as the presenting sponsor of its NYRR Set the Pace podcast beginning May 2024. NYRR Set the Pace Presented by Peloton will be available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, and iHeart, with select episodes also available as Outdoor workouts on the Peloton App starting this summer. Peloton Instructor Becs Gentry will join NYRR Chief Executive Officer Rob Simmelkjaer as the podcast’s new co-host.

“We are thrilled to have Peloton’s support for NYRR Set the Pace, as we aim to inspire runners of all ages and abilities wherever they are in the world through life-changing stories and race insights on our podcast,” said Simmelkjaer. “NYRR’s partnership with Peloton to create motivational fitness content is extremely valuable as we combine our efforts through the podcast and other mediums to help better the physical and mental wellbeing of runners around the world.”

“I am so thrilled to be the official co-host of NYRR Set The Pace alongside Rob,” said Peloton Instructor Becs Gentry. “I’ve had the opportunity to be featured a few times as a guest and guest co-host, so the show already feels like home. One of the reasons I have been so excited about Peloton’s and NYRR’s partnership is because it has felt like such a perfect combination of my own personal and professional passions. I love both of these communities, and it’s really exciting to have the opportunity to continue to blend them together.”

NYRR Set the Pace: New Episode

The first episode under Peloton’s new partnership will air May 2, featuring Peloton Instructor Mariana Fernández, who will share her own running journey before providing listeners with a sneak peek of new guided meditation content in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month available on the Peloton App.

NYRR Set the Pace: Episode Recap

This includes five scenic episodes from the TCS New York City Marathon course with audio guidance from five Peloton Instructors with personal ties to the race, as well as a 2.5-hour course speed run that provides the experience of running the full marathon course.
