FORT WORTH, Texas — The Cowtown Marathon is proud to announce PNC Bank as the presenting sponsor of the 2026 Cowtown Kids 5K, reinforcing a shared commitment to community well-being, youth development, and lifelong healthy habits.
The Kids 5K presented by PNC Bank will take place Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 9:45 a.m., with the start and finish at Will Rogers Memorial Center. School teams from across North Texas will participate in one of the region’s largest youth running events.
PNC Bank’s sponsorship reflects its longstanding dedication to strengthening communities and supporting initiatives that help children thrive—aligning directly with The Cowtown’s mission to inspire healthy, active lifestyles at an early age.
2026 Kids 5K by the Numbers

· 5,411 C.A.L.F. grants awarded this year
Since 2009, The Cowtown’s Children’s Activities for Life & Fitness (C.A.L.F.) Program has inspired kids across North Texas to fall in love with fitness. Each year, the program visits more than 100 schools to teach proper running techniques and share healthy lifestyle tips, including hydration, nutrition, and staying active. Through school grants, C.A.L.F. helps children from low-income families by providing properly fitted running shoes and affordable race entry fees.
Thanks to the C.A.L.F. Program, more than 65,000 children have achieved the milestone of completing a 5K over the past 17 years.

Participants in the Kids 5K presented by PNC Bank will receive:

· Custom finisher medal
· Custom race bib
· Printable finisher certificate

· Post-race celebration with live band and family-friendly activities
Age division awards are offered for 17 and under, with custom medals awarded five deep for male and female divisions.
