New 3, 5, and 9-mile trail race combines Lake Lewisville views, a custom bottle opener finisher medal, and a laid-back post-race celebration.
LITTLE ELM, Texas — 06.23.26— Run Project is excited to announce the inaugural One Ale of a Trail, a brand-new trail running event taking place Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the scenic Lakefront Trail in Little Elm, Texas. Designed for runners of all abilities, the event invites participants to trade pavement for dirt trails while experiencing one of North Texas’ most beautiful lakeside parks.
Participants can choose from 3-mile, 5-mile, or 9-mile distances that wind through the natural trails surrounding Beard Park and Lake Lewisville. The course features smooth dirt paths, native North Texas trees, lakeside scenery, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it ideal for both experienced trail runners and those trying trail running for the first time.
“One Ale of a Trail is about more than just the miles,” said Brock, Founder of Run Project. “We wanted to create an event that celebrates everything people love about fall in Texas—getting outdoors, exploring new trails, spending time with friends, and enjoying a great finish line experience.”
Unlike traditional road races, One Ale of a Trail encourages runners to slow down, take in the scenery, and stay after the race. Following the finish, participants are invited to relax along the shores of Lake Lewisville with live music, lawn games, and a complimentary post-race beer for participants age 21 and older.
