Empowering Timers with Next-Gen Tech, Practical Training, and a Competitive Edge
Moorestown, NJ – September 1, 2026 — RunSignup, the leading registration and technology provider for the endurance industry in the U.S., is pleased to announce its third annual Timer Education Summit. The summit is scheduled for February 23-24, 2027, at the University of South Florida Health CAMLS facility in Tampa, Florida. Registration is now open. Space will be limited, so early registration is highly encouraged.
This year’s summit continues RunSignup’s commitment to helping timers across the endurance events industry expand their knowledge, sharpen their technical skills, and connect with peers. Building on the momentum of the last two years, RunSignup expects strong attendance from timers coming from around the country in 2027.
What to Expect
The 2027 Summit offers two distinct educational tracks—introductory and advanced—tailored to timers at every experience level, as well as overarching general sessions. This year, the two tracks will follow a more interactive, hands-on workshop approach. Attendees will gain practical training on the RaceDay Real-Time timer technology and RunSignup’s platform while exploring our latest product advancements, including Photo-Based Timing, the Real-Time Announcer Feed, RaceDay Scoring V6performance upgrade, RunSignup’s V2 custom web builder, and a sneak peak at Results V2.
Key Summit features include:
- Introductory & Advanced Tracks: Both tracks feature a hands-on, workshop format designed to help new and seasoned timers master RaceDay tools, troubleshoot effectively, and improve operational efficiencies. RunSignup will also host dedicated sessions where timers can actively share and exchange ideas, peer-solutions, and best practices.
- General Sessions (open to all attendees): Featuring RunSignup business and product updates; deep dives into how RunSignup is currently applying AI and how timers can use AI to their advantage in their own businesses; and the recognition of excellence with the 2027 Alan Jones Timer of the Year Award.
Additional Summit highlights:
- Morning Demo Run: A live morning run showcasing a real-world, interactive demo of the RaceDay Technology suite in action.
