The premier-level partnership will include travel vouchers and complimentary tickets for daily non-stop flights from DFW to Istanbul for race participants

DALLAS – The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival is proud to announce its premier partnership with Turkish Airlines and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) for this year’s 52nd annual race weekend coming up Dec. 8-10.

To promote its offering of the only daily non-stop flight from DFW to Istanbul, Turkiye, Turkish Airlines will offer 2023 registered race participants a discounted travel voucher, as well as a pair of complimentary tickets from DFW to the Turkish Airlines network to be raffled off during the event.

“We are so excited about this partnership and couldn’t be happier to welcome Turkish Airlines and DFW Airport to our BMW Dallas Marathon Festival family,” said Charles Peyton, Chairman of the Board for the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival. “The marathon is all about encouraging people to live their best and healthiest lives and we’re proud to partner with brands that encourage adventure, travel, and living life to the fullest.”

The airline began offering non-stop flights from DFW Airport to Turkiye’s jewel city of Istanbul on September 24, 2021. This is yet another US-based achievement for the international carrier, which connects Dallas Fort Worth to 129 countries around the world, and now flaunts 12 hubs in the US, including Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, Newark, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle. According to the airline, the addition of Dallas Fort Worth isn’t the end of this expansion, either. In November 2023, Turkish Airlines plans to welcome its thirteenth gateway in Detroit in an effort to drive even more tourism from the US and ideally meet the country’s annual goal of 2 million visitors.

“As a leading global airline flying to more countries than any other, Turkish Airlines prides itself on sponsoring sporting events around the world that connect people, places and cultures,” said Abdulbasir Yasar, Marketing Representative for Turkish Airlines. “The Turkish Airlines Dallas Fort Worth gateway opened in 2021, offering travelers the opportunity to experience our world-class service, award-winning cuisine and world-famous Turkish hospitality, and we are thrilled to sponsor the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival this year. We offer seamless connections in Istanbul and invite passengers to take advantage of our Stopover in Istanbul, free accommodation program, to explore the wonders of Turkiye.”
