Madison artist Nick Meyer, of Tokens of Art, will design a commemorative course map for the event
MADISON, WI — The organizers of Run Madtown are proud to welcome Tokens of Art, a Madison-based digital art studio, as a new sponsor for the 2026 race weekend. As part of the partnership, Tokens of Art will design a special commemorative Run Madtown course map, a piece of art available in a variety of formats that participants can purchase to remember a very special race day.
Run Madtown, held annually in Madison and featuring a Twilight 5K on May 23, and a 10K and Half Marathon on May 24, is known for its vibrant spirit, bright colors and welcoming atmosphere as the city’s unofficial kickoff to summer. Each year thousands of runners and walkers gather to experience iconic city views, lakefront scenery, and the electric energy of the community.
The 2026 commemorative course map created by Tokens of Art will transform that experience into a collectible work of art, capturing the route, the landmarks, and the memories of race weekend in a format suitable for framing, hanging or wearing.
Tokens of Art specializes in custom and locally inspired artwork, creating designs for events, businesses, and the community, along with original work often inspired by Wisconsin and the Midwest. Their local focus and playful art style makes them a natural fit for Run Madtown’s colorful, community-driven celebration of running.
“For runners, the course map represents the journey: the hills you conquered, the neighborhoods that cheered you on, and the moment you crossed the finish line,” said Run Madtown Race Director Beth Salinger. “Working with Tokens of Art allows us to turn that journey into something tangible, a piece of art participants can hang on their wall and relive race day every time they see it.”

The map will be unveiled ahead of race weekend and available to participants as a keepsake celebrating their Run Madtown experience.
