Second annual Queens 5K brings Diplo, TOKiMONSTA, Tank Sinatra and special guests to Flushing Meadows Corona Park for a morning of running and music

NEW YORK – October 23, 2026 – More than 12,000 runners are expected at Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Saturday as Diplo’s Run Club returns to New York for its second year, bringing together a world-class 5K, celebrity guests and a post-race music festival headlined by Grammy-winning artist, producer and DJ Diplo.

Race morning will begin with social media personality Tank Sinatra serving as start-line DJ at 8:00 a.m., setting the tone as thousands of runners gather in Queens. Following the 5K, acclaimed producer and DJ TOKiMONSTA will open the finish-line festival at 10:00 a.m. before Diplo takes the stage.

Additional celebrity and VIP guests are expected throughout the morning. Last year’s New York debut featured appearances from A$AP Ferg and Mark Ronson and became the largest first-year 5K in the United States.

This weekend’s event also comes days after Diplo released “Let Me Cook” with A$AP Ferg, the first single from a forthcoming music project inspired by Diplo’s Run Club. Diplo has previewed the track throughout the season, including at last weekend’s sold-out San Francisco event.

Diplo runs the 3.1-mile course alongside participants before performing at the post-race concert, giving the event the feel of a road race crossed with a daytime music festival.

“Music and fitness are such large parts of my life – it’s very special for me to be able to share both of those things with my fans together in one event,” Diplo said. “We had more than ten thousand people run and party with me in New York last year; I can’t wait to do it with even more people this time around.”

New York has quickly become one of Diplo’s Run Club’s largest markets, serving as an unofficial kickoff to marathon week and pairing the city’s deep running culture with an event designed to appeal well beyond the traditional road-racing community.

More than half of participants across the series are first-time 5K runners, reflecting its appeal to a younger, social audience drawn to running, live music and shared experiences.

Saturday’s event will start and finish at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, with participants receiving a technical event shirt and finisher medal. Brand partners will also offer product giveaways, wellness experiences and other activations throughout the festival grounds.

Now in its third season nationally, Diplo’s Run Club has expanded from its flagship San Francisco event into an international series. Last weekend, more than 12,000 runners participated in a sold-out San Francisco 5K that featured Jax Jones and surprise performances from Too $hort and Kah-Lo.
