Connecting participants and fans throughout Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend 2026 with the Run Ottawa app
On 23 and 24 May, tens of thousands of runners gathered in Canada’s capital for another successful edition of the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend. The weekend features the Tamarack Homes Ottawa International Marathon, recognised as a World Athletics Elite Label Road Race, alongside a full programme of distances for runners of all levels.
Known for its scenic routes through downtown Ottawa and its fast, flat course, the event attracts first-time participants, competitive runners and elite athletes alike. This year, 41,463 participants took part across all race distances, reinforcing its position as one of the largest running weekends in Canada.
A fully connected event experience
Throughout the weekend, the Run Ottawa SeriesApp powered by TRACX played a central role in connecting participants and fans to the event experience. By bringing athletes and supporters together in one environment, the SeriesApp extended engagement beyond race day and created a continuous connection to the event across the weekend.
Over 11.5 million app activities were recorded across the two-day event, reflecting strong engagement from participants and fans throughout the weekend.
