Asheville, NC – September 8, 2025 – As a proud industry leader in environmentally friendly apparel and gear, Recover Brands is excited to announce the launch of its newest initiative: Recover L.A.B.
Short for “Living And Breathing”, L.A.B. is a bold new project designed to serve as a creative testing ground and innovation driver. Through this initiative, Recover continues to advance its recycled fiber manufacturing capabilities by developing new recycled cotton materials and releasing new limited-run products now available to races, events, and wholesalers.
Like all Recover products, L.A.B. is rooted in sustainability, with every piece crafted from 100% recycled materials in their HyperLocal® supply chain. Beyond that, L.A.B. takes its sustainability vision further by utilizing new mixes of fibers and colors of textile waste as a source of creative inspiration.
A key part of this vision is Recover’s 360° Closed Loop Program, which partners with races across the country, including the Marine Corps Marathon, Big Sur International Marathon, Charlotte Marathon, and many others, to collect old race tees from participants along with excess participant shirts and event merchandise. These garments are then broken down and respun into new apparel, transforming post-consumer textile waste into new products, bringing this circular initiative to life.
By experimenting with unique colors of post-consumer cotton textile waste that extend beyond their core recycled fabrics, Recover not only prevents additional waste from entering landfills but also tells a powerful story of circularity through new colors and fabrics.
L.A.B. product releases will be available to wholesale partners, offering one-of-a-kind colorways that are perfect for unique race participant shirts. These products can be purchased as blanks or customized, with deep savings available on full lot purchases. As with all Recover partnerships, sustainable storytelling is supported through customized Impact Savings and various marketing resources.
The launch of Recover L.A.B. marks a new and exciting chapter in the brand’s mission to provide apparel and gear for the greatest positive impact possible.
