DALLAS, TX –  The Skyline Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, one of North Texas’ most anticipated spring races, today announced exciting updates for its 2026 event, including the introduction of new USATF-certified routes and a partnership with Dallas-based nonprofit, Rainbow Days.

The new USATF-certified routes for both the Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) deliver officially measured distances, ensuring runners are eligible for records and qualifying times. The courses are thoughtfully designed to highlight the city’s iconic bridges, sweeping skyline views, and West Dallas neighborhoods while maintaining the challenge runners expect.

“The 2026 Skyline race is shaping up to be the best yet,” said Rob Ostrout, Race Director. “We’ve upgraded the experience for competitive runners with certified precision, enhanced our swag with a new Half Marathon finisher medallion, and, most importantly, deepened our community impact through a meaningful new partnership.”

Key Highlights for Skyline 2026:

●     New USATF-Certified Courses: The Half Marathon and 10K now feature new, certified routes designed for flow, safety, and scenery, appealing to competitive runners chasing PRs and first-timers alike.

●     New Charity Partner: Rainbow Days: Fundraising efforts will directly support Rainbow Days, a Dallas-based nonprofit dedicated to helping local children and families overcome obstacles caused by poverty, homelessness, abuse, and neglect.

●     Upgraded Swag: Runners will receive a high-quality, performance race tech shirt and a custom, distance-specific race bib. Half Marathon runners will earn a NEW logo finisher medallion.

●     Electric Finish Line Party: The celebration at Trinity Groves area will feature a Corona beer garden, free food and drinks (including pre-race breakfast tacos from Red’s BBQ), a live DJ, and an awards ceremony, all set against the Dallas skyline backdrop.

The 5K (3.1 miles) remains an approachable and fun distance, welcoming beginners, walkers, and families. Registration is now open, and runners are encouraged to register early to secure their spot and save before prices increase.
