BibRave planned and executed three days of programming for 48 Brooks sponsored athletes
Honolulu, HI – BibRave, the leading-edge endurance and fitness marketing agency, partnered with Brooks Running to gather their team of elite athletes for an interactive summit. Hosted at their Seattle, WA headquarters, the Summit brought together 48 elite Brooks sponsored athletes from across the country for three days of thought-provoking and inspirational programming, brand connection, and team-building.
BibRave oversaw all planning and execution of the Athlete Summit, including theme-and welcome-kit-development, programming, and vendor contracting, focusing on inspiration and connectedness as the event’s throughline. The three day summit included ten unique events, including panels led by Brooks leadership, bonding over team dinners, content creation workshops, and more. Developing an extensive welcome kit, detailed on-boarding guide, and event communications, BibRave curated a premium experience for the athletes in the event lead-up and throughout the Summit.
“With teams and athletes across the country, it was important to bring everyone together to connect, learn more about the Brooks organization, and to get inspired for 2023,” said Amanda Neil, VP Global Brand Strategy and Marketing. “BibRave understands Brooks’ values and developed programming that reflected those elements, educated and elevated the athletes, and enabled them to bond in a fun and relaxed environment. BibRave was the perfect partner for creating a memorable inaugural Brooks Athlete Summit.”
As part of BibRave’s experiential services, the team also managed all on-site operations, coordinating with vendors, managing A/V, and setting up signage and decor for eight locations throughout Seattle.
“Our team was thrilled to work alongside the Brooks Sports Marketing Team to bring this Summit to life,” said Jessica Murphy, Co-Founder of BibRave. “The athletes’ energy and positive feedback after the event really showcased how the right mix of creativity and planning pays off!”
The Summit brought together elite athletes from four different Brooks teams, celebrating accomplishments and kicking off the new year as a team. Programming included a partnership with the Brooks Community Impact team to give 40+ highschool students an opportunity to meet and run with the athletes. The Influencer team brought Brooks Run Happy Advocate, Jeff Binney to the event, to help educate and inspire the athletes on creating content for Brooks.
