Race directors can now let participants ask questions about results, splits, pricing and event details in plain language, answered from live RunSignup data
MOORESTOWN, NJ – October 9, 2026 – RunSignup, the employee-owned platform that powers registration for more than half of U.S. endurance events, today announced the release of its AI Results Agent and a set of three AI Agents for race websites. The Results Agent is now available on every set of results published on RunSignup, and all of the new agents are free for RunSignup customers.
AI Results Agent
The AI Results Agent lives on the new Results Overview page and understands every result a race has posted. Participants can ask it to analyze a performance, including split-by-split detail where splits are available, compare athletes, or look back at historical results. It works on both Website V2 and legacy RunSignup race websites, and race directors turn it on with a single setting. See it live on example Results Overview pages here and here.
The Results Agent is part of RunSignup’s broader Results V2 project. Charts and live team scoring are planned next for the Results Overview page.
AI Agents for race websites
RunSignup also now offers three opt-in AI Agents for race websites:
- AI Contact Us Agent — the AI Customer Service Agent answers “Contact Us” questions before they reach the race director’s inbox.
- AI Website Chatbot — answers participant questions about the event, with full results capability built in.
- AI Results Agent — answers results questions from the race’s posted results, on Website V2 and legacy sites.
The agents combine a race’s own website content with the event data already in RunSignup — pricing, results and, soon, participant management rules — so answers reflect the race’s actual setup rather than generic information. The AI Chatbot and AI Customer Service Agent require an upgrade to Website V2.
Coming next: participant management through the agents, including refunds, deferrals, transfers and waitlists, and the ability to register for an event directly through the website AI agent. These releases continue the AI product roll-out RunSignup began earlier this year.
Availability
All of the AI Agents are available now at no additional cost to RunSignup customers. Each is opt-in, so race directors choose which agents to turn on.
“Participants have always had questions — how did I do against my age group, what time did my friend run, when does the price go up. Now the race website can answer them, using the race’s own data,” said Bob Bickel, founder of RunSignup. “We’re building these AI Agents into the platform for free because they make every race on RunSignup work better. Next up is letting the agents handle refunds, transfers, waitlists and even registration itself.”
