FORT WORTH, TX — The Cowtown Full Marathon has officially reached its original allocation of participant entries, underscoring strong demand for the iconic North Texas race scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2026.
In response, race officials announced the release of a limited number of additional entries through a newly expanded charity bib program supporting the Cowtown C.A.L.F. (Children’s Activities for Life & Fitness) program.
Registration for the C.A.L.F. Charity Bib – Full Marathon will open Monday, January 19, at 6:00 a.m. CT, offering 300 additional runners the opportunity to participate. Registration will close once all spots are filled or no later than Monday, February 9 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
The charity bib program allows runners to secure a full marathon entry while directly supporting C.A.L.F., which funds youth fitness and health initiatives throughout North Texas.
Each C.A.L.F. Charity Bib includes:
· Full Marathon registration at Tier 1 pricing ($120)
· A $180 charitable donation made directly to the Cowtown C.A.L.F. program in the runner’s honor
· Cowtown Gold Pass Access Bib (a $100 value), providing access to the VIP area during race weekend
· A C.A.L.F. Charity Back Bib recognizing the runner’s contribution
The total cost for the C.A.L.F. Charity Bib is $300. Charity bibs are limited to the Full Marathon distance only and are non-refundable. The donation portion is credited to the registered runner and is not transferable.
Race officials also note that the Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon distances are expected to reach capacity prior to race weekend and will close without expansion. Saturday events — including the Adults 5K, Kids 5K, and 10K — continue to have registration availability.
