February 12, 2024 – VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA – The Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend returns on March 15-17, 2024, with a three-year renewal from title sponsor, Yuengling Brewery. This year marks the race’s 52nd year running through the streets of Virginia Beach, and Yuengling’s 13th year as title sponsor.
Yuengling will be present during the entire weekend from interactive activities during the Expo, a Meet and Greet with Jen Yuengling, to on course motivation, and Yuengling Beer at the post-race celebration.
Jerry Frostick, Race Director, expressed the racing company’s enthusiasm for the continued sponsorship, saying, “Yuengling has been a perfect fit for Shamrock and become a staple for participants celebrating their accomplishments,”. Amy Frostick, Race Director, also mused “The company’s investment in our race weekend has helped to create a better experience for our participants who travel far and wide to be here for this event.”

The Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend is expected to attract more than 25,000 runners. Yuengling will also be the featured beer during the Post Race Celebration where participants will celebrate their finish with Yuengling Traditional Lager and Yuengling Flight.
The Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend kicks off March 15 with the US Army Sports & Health Fitness Expo, the TowneBank Shamrock 8K on March 16 and the Anthem Shamrock Half Marathon and Yuengling Shamrock Marathon on March 17 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
