Hamilton, Bermuda, November 5, 2025 The Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge (“CBTC”) is pleased to announce that British Long-Distance Runner & World Marathon Champion Paula Radcliffe MBE, has agreed to be the honorary guest speaker for the January 2026 race weekend to be held Friday, January 16 through Sunday, January 18.

Paula Radcliffe is a three-time winner of both the London Marathon (2002, 2003, 2005) and the New York City Marathon (2004, 2007, 2008), as well as the 2002 Chicago Marathon champion and the 2005 World Marathon Champion in Helsinki. She was formerly the fastest female marathoner in history, holding the women’s world record of 2:15:25 for sixteen years (2003–2019) until it was broken by Brigid Kosgei at the 2019 Chicago Marathon.

Ms. Radcliffe is also a former world champion in the marathon, half marathon, and cross country, and a European champion in both the 10,000 metres and cross country. On the track, she earned a silver medal in the 10,000 metres at the 1999 World Championships and captured the 5000 metres title at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. She also represented Great Britain in four consecutive Olympic Games (1996–2008). Throughout her career, Ms. Radcliffe received numerous honours, including BBC Sports Personality of the Year, Laureus World Comeback of the Year, World Athletics (formerly IAAF) World Athlete of the Year, and AIMS World Athlete of the Year (three times). She was inducted into the England Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010. She sits on the IAAF Athletes Commission and Cross-Country Committee, and was also on a WHO Commission on Ending Childhood Obesity as well as advising various IOC commissions from the athlete perspective.

Ms. Radcliffe will be speaking at the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge Pasta Dinner, presented and hosted by Global Atlantic Re, on Saturday January 17 at 6pm, at the Hamilton Princess Hotel. The CBTC is an international three-day running event that will begin on Friday, January 16, 2026, with the Butterfield Mile, continues Saturday, January 17, 2026, with the Allshores 10k & 5k events, and culminates on Sunday, January 18, 2026, with the PwC Bermuda Marathon, Bermuda Half Marathon, and Bermuda Half Marathon Relay.  Runners also have the option of running the Full Triangle Challenge or the Half Triangle Challenge, which sees participants complete three races in three days: the mile on Friday, the 10k on Saturday, and either the full marathon or half marathon on Sunday.  To register please visit:  https://www.bermudatrianglechallenge.com/registration/
