2023 marks the 23rd running of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon and for the first time

ever, special registration pricing was offered to thank runners and bring them back to the streets

of Oklahoma City for the Run to Remember in April 2023.

For 23 hours, September 7 to September 8, the Marathon offered 23% off registration

for all races. More than 2,000 runners from 38 states and two foreign countries signed up during

those 23 hours. General registration is now open for all races.

Also new in 2023, the Senior Marathon is being added for anyone age 65 and over.

Individuals walk or run 25 miles – about 1.5 miles weekly between January and

race day and then meet at the Start Line in front of the Memorial to run their last 1.2 miles

completing a marathon. “We are excited about the possibilities of bringing a whole new

group of people out to enjoy race weekend,” said Kari Watkins, Race Director.

There is a race for everyone – Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay, 5K, Senior Marathon and

Kids Marathon, spread over two race days, April 29 and 30, 2023.

WHY WE RUN

The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is Oklahoma’s largest marathon bringing

together runners from all 50 states and a dozen countries to celebrate life

and honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever

by the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal Building.

The Memorial Marathon is the largest fundraiser for the privately owned and

operated Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. For more information go to
